In this generation, country, and countries all over the world, it is not uncommon to see homeless people scattered on every corner of the streets. It is extremely upsetting to see the way that some of these people get treated by others rushing around and driving past in their cars. I find it especially disheartening when those people get blamed for where they are, saying it is "all their fault" and "they should work harder to get a job", when most of the time no one is to blame. If living on the street is this hard as an adult in countries like the United States, imagine how grueling it must be to be living on the street as a child in a third world country. Children are clearly not fully developed mentally or physically, so they do not know the proper way to take care of themselves. These children are incapable of raising themselves, let alone on the street and getting very little help from strangers. Something needs to be done to decrease the number of homeless children all over the world, whether it be charities, fundraisers, opening new facilities, etc. because no child deserves to be thrown to the side. No child deserves a life of living day by day, never knowing what may be encountered next. No child deserves to wonder whether they are safe or not, and no child deserves to miss out on their entire childhood by raising and taking care of themselves alone.
